On completion of all three components, pool, classroom and open water certification this will lead to a NAUI SCUBA Diver Certification.
Cost of the HHUC “Learn to Scuba Dive” Training Course:
- The cost of the course (pool and classroom) is $300 for U of T students, $450 for public.
- Plus the cost of your basic gear: mask, fins, snorkel and weights for the pool work (we will tell you what we recommend the first night of the course, approx. $100-250),
- and the open water certification weekend (~$400-500, June 8-9th) or Referral – URP

Winter Course: (10 weeks)
First Class: January 16th
Reading week: (no class) February 20
Last Class: March 26th
Fall Course 2024: (10 weeks)
First Class: TBD (normally starts mid September on a Tuesday)
Reading week: (no class)
Last Class: TBD (normally ends in November, or early December)
The pool sessions are held on Tuesdays on the pool deck at 8:00 pm and in the pool 9:00-11:00 pm.
Online Classroom sessions
will be held on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:00 pm online.
