DESCRIPTION:Learn to Scuba Training Course – Winter 2023 session begins Jan. 17\, 2023 \nThe Hart House Underwater Club “Learn to Scuba” training course is designed to promote safe diving practices and prepare you for a lifetime of recreational diving! After completing the classroom and pool (“confined-water”) training portions of the course\, Scuba Trainees will be required to perform open-water dives in a lake or ocean in order to attain a Scuba Diver certification issued by the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI). Your scuba certification will permit you to scuba dive within the limits of your training and at recreational dive limits anywhere in the world. \nThe Winter Semester pool session for the Scuba Training Course starts Tuesday\, Jan. 17\, 2023\, 9:00 pm at the Athletic Centre pool\, and runs to Tuesday\, March 28\, 2023\, with the exception of the Fall Reading Week on Tuesday\, Feb. 21\, 2023.
