Details
This Course is for Certified SCUBA Divers looking to learn how to dive safely in a dry suit. Dry Suits are useful in colder conditions, and this course teaches individuals about dry suit, types, care, use and safety.
It includes 1 hour classroom, NAUI e-learning a 2 hour pool session and 4 open water dives. The course fee also includes SCUBA gear rental for the pool night ONLY (reg, BCD and tank).
The 4 required openwater dives will be at Humberbay Park West, in Lake Ontario, in Toronto.
For those that do not yet have a dry suit, dry suit rental is not included in the course, but is available at a discount through a partner dive shop (~$160+HST for the week).
Also if you need SCUBA gear (regs, BCD and 2 tanks) for the weekend the club has opened up weekly equipment rental for this fall. Please connect with the equipment team ASAP.
The link to register for the course is here: Register at Hart House. (Note: you need to have an active membership to register).
Given the tight timeline if you have questions or interest please email me at moc.liamgnull@ssentif.cuhh.
